Students that have attended another college or university are welcome to apply for admission into Lexington. Transfer students make up nearly 40% of the student population at Lexington; each student transitioning seamlessly into the Lexington community. Lexington offers a wide variety of generous scholarship opportunities for transfer students, please view the scholarships for more information.
A minimum of 12 semester (18 quarter) credit hours are required for admission as a transfer student. In addition, students are able to transfer a maximum of 64 semester (96 quarter) credit hours (view transfer credit). Students who have completed under 12 semester (18 quarter) credit hours of college-level credit are considered first-year or adult applicants. Lexington admits transfer students in the Fall (August) and Spring (January) semesters.
