Students that have attended another college or university are welcome to apply for admission into Lexington. Transfer students make up nearly 40% of the student population at Lexington; each student transitioning seamlessly into the Lexington community. Lexington offers a wide variety of generous scholarship opportunities for transfer students, please view the Financial Aid page for more information.
To apply as a transfer student, a minimum of 12 semester hours or 18 quarter hours are required for admission. In addition, students are able to transfer a maximum of 64 semester hours or 96 quarter hours. Students who have completed under 12 semester hours or 18 quarter hours of college credit are considered First-Year or Adult Applicants. Lexington admits transfer students in the Fall and Spring semesters.
