Spiritual Life

The Lexington Chapel

Lexington College is inspired by the social teachings of the Catholic Church and entrusts its doctrinal and spiritual formation to Opus Dei, a personal Prelature of the Catholic Church.

Saint Josemaría Escrivá, founder of Opus Dei

During the academic year, Mass is celebrated weekdays in the College's chapel by the College chaplain at 11:35a.m. The chapel is also open daily for personal private reflection and prayer.

Throughout the year optional spiritual activities are provided and conducted by a Catholic priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei and are open to students, faculty and staff of any faith wishing to attend. Spiritual retreats and Catholic doctrine classes are also available for students choosing to attend.

To contact the College's chaplain, phone (312) 226-6294.
